About Us

About Power & Solar Group

Power & Solar Group started with a simple goal: to be the go-to team for honest, high-quality solar and electrical work on Sydney's northern beaches. We've grown from that vision into a dedicated solar specialist, and today that's the only work we do; just solar, done properly, from start to finish.

Our team grew up on the northern beaches and brings over 10+ years of industry experience to every project. That local knowledge means we understand the roofs, the councils, the grid connections and the weather this area throws at a solar system, and we design every installation to handle it.

We're passionate about renewable energy and the role it plays in a more sustainable future for our community. Whether it's a home going solar for the first time, a business cutting its energy costs, or a fleet switching to EVs, we work collaboratively with every client to get the outcome that actually suits them, with clear communication, honest recommendations, and quotes that are easy to understand.

Solar and battery rebates haven't ended: the federal STC scheme runs to 2030, the Cheaper Home Batteries Program is better funded than ever, NSW's VPP incentive still stacks on top, and the new zero-interest loan scheme adds further support for upgrades. Find out more here.

Led by a Local Tradie, Not a Sales Team

Power & Solar Group is run by Kieran Garside, a northern beaches local who swapped a marine biology degree for a career in the trade over 13 years ago. That background means the person setting the direction for every quote, design and installation has actually done the work himself, not just managed a sales pipeline.

It's why clients get straight answers instead of upsells, and why every job carries Kieran's own standard for safety and craftsmanship, whether it's a small residential battery or a full commercial solar rollout.

What We Do

We've built locallised and specialist expertise across the full solar ecosystem:

Solar Panels

Residential and business solar panel installations, designed and sized around your actual energy use, roof orientation and budget, not a one-size-fits-all package.

Battery Storage

Home and business battery systems that store your solar generation for use, maximising self-consumption and reducing reliance on the grid.

Solar Inverters

Supply, installation and replacement of quality inverters, plus fault-finding and upgrades for existing systems that aren't performing the way they should.

Commercial Solar

Larger-scale solar solutions for businesses, including system design, staged installation, and monitoring to bring down commercial energy bills.

EV Chargers

Home and workplace EV charger supply and installation, sized correctly for your switchboard and, where useful, integrated with your solar and battery system.

Level 2 Electricians

Our in-house Level 2 accredited electricians handle the meter and mains connection work that solar, battery and EV charger installations often require, so the whole job is managed by one accountable team.

The Locals Choice

Why Choose Power & Solar Group

We're a customer-service business first and a solar company second, the technical work only matters if the experience of working with us is a great one. That means straightforward advice, transparent pricing, and a team that answers your questions properly the first time, not a sales script.

Credentials You Can Trust

Accreditations & Licences
